Be careful with your pets in hotels on the FourthIf you are going to be out of town for the Fourth of July think twice about brining your pet to hotels and motels. Finding pet friendly hotels can be hard in the first place but to find one on our Independence Day can be even harder. Many animals get very scared at the sound of fireworks, which causes them to bark, scratch or even go to the bathroom. If you are planning to stay in hotels and motels for the Fourth of July it will probably be in your best interest not to bring any animals with you. Unless your dog or cat is extremely well trained and will not react to fireworks, pet friendly hotels may not accept them. If the pet friendly hotels give you the o.k. just be aware that you could lose your security deposit or be kicked out if they are too loud or make a mess. Make sure to call pet friendly hotels ahead of time before bringing your animal on the Fourth of July.
