Finding extended stay hotels for your next long business trip is a good idea if you like the idea of staying in a place where you can be a little more comfortable and stretch out a little. I live in Phoenix where the summers are long and insufferably hot, and one July I had to do a housing study in Minneapolis, so I decided to stay in extended stay hotels for the two weeks I would be gone. Greatly anticipating the cooler climate in Minnesota versus Arizona, I packed some yeast and bread flour, and baked bread every other day in my suite. It was such a nice refreshing change from the heat of the desert, and being able to do some domestic things in extended stay hotels was a nice break from all the work I had to do while I was there. If I am going to spend more than three nights in a city on business, I always find extended stay hotels so I can have a few more comforts, like more room, and a little kitchen.
