I have been on the hotel finder and other travel finder sites since it became available online years ago. Through-out the years of family vacations and business travel, online travel booking was and is the best way to go. In these tough times now, you can find fantastic savings on many hotels and motels along with other perks that usually come with the bookings. It can be free breakfasts to a night free, if you stay a certain number of nights. My family has taken advantage of as many perks as we could through all our travels. If you can go with a travel package of air, hotel and car, the savings can be quite a bit. I remember when my family was moving from the northwest to southwest. We searched for pet friendly hotels as we were bringing our dog and cat. What a relief to find hotels on our route and book one, without that huge worry on our long driving trip down. Booking your travel hotel online is truly the best way to go.

Hotel Finders and Other Tips

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/May/Hotel-Finders-and-Other-Tips.htm

With summer just around the corner, it's time to make reservations for those vacations that you've been needing. Whether you're taking a break from school or your job, take advantage of the cheap hotel deals that are out there with just a little bit of planning.

Hotel finders are excellent tools in finding a cheap hotel. They'll find the best deals for you. Examples of top rated hotel finders are Expedia, Priceline, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. Use as many hotel finders as possible. Many hotel finders allow you to seek out hotels across America, some provide you with the wider scope of the world. The key to using hotel finders is to be as flexible as possible in order to zero in on the lowest deal. For example, you may want to be flexible on dates, amenities, etc. The less specific you are in your expectations, the lower the price you can find.

Do some research and find out when "down season" is. Down season is when there are less expected tourists, meaning hotels are more willing to give you a deal in order to bring some business in. For example, Las Vegas hotels have drastically fluctuating prices throughout the week. The weekends may have soaring prices for hotel rooms, especially during convention weekends. However, during midweek, Vegas may have a hotel for a fraction of the price.

Do you buy in bulk at places like Costco and Sam's Club? Then consider purchasing hotel nights in bulk. If you purchase a stay for a few nights, rather than just one night, you may get a deal on each individual night with the longer stay. Look for extended stay hotels that may provide a deal.

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/May/Bring-Your-Animals-to-Pet-Friendly-Hotels.htm

If you want to enjoy a real family vacation, bring your dog or cat with you. Today, several hotels welcome pets with open arms. Pet friendly hotels are located across the country. These include inexpensive budget-motels and expensive Downtown-area hotels. Years ago, guests were not allowed to bring a pet to a hotel. Those who did usually had to pay a hefty fine, which covered the cost of cleaning the room. However, things have changed, and now it’s possible to find pet friendly hotels.

To find pet friendly hotels, it’s best to look online and conduct a quick search for “pet friendly hotels.” Hotel locator tools provide detailed information on each hotel. For example, what is the fee for traveling with a pet? Is the deposit refundable? Is there a dog park? Once you’ve located an affordable pet friendly hotel, book the hotel room and prepare for the trip.

As a courtesy, pet owners should travel with a cage. If you plan to leave the hotel for several hours, place the dog or cat inside the cage with food and water. In turn, the animal will not damage the room in your absence.

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/April/Find-Pet-Friendly-Hotels-Online-Using-a-Hotel-Finder.htm

<img title="pet friendly hotels" alt="pet friendly hotels, hotel finder" friendly hotels" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/4QCAPF8FDNCA67K1O3CA264HFQCAVJM04SCAY5U6C5CAV3DXQCCAMYXX6NCAQBV1SWCA003VY0CA2TOZRNCAP65X5UCAHZ86LPCAMTSWN8CAHXQBYYCAGDGQESCAUJTJAZCA8XG7PACABEM7JOCABY7FHX.jpg" /> Using a hotel finder to find pet friendly hotels is your first step in taking a trip with your cat or dog. Being able to take your pet with you on a trip helps both you and the animal because they depend on you for not only their physical needs, but also their emotional needs, and pet friendly hotels make it easy and comfortable for you to travel with your pets. Hotel finders make it easy to identify these hotels, and make reservations. You can also look for room discounts by using these online services to take a bite out of your trip's cost.

Bringing your dog along on your trip is much better for him or her because dogs require a fair amount of attention daily, compared to cats, who can handle being alone for longer periods of time. Dogs need to go outside, need to be walked, and are more dependent on human attention than cats, so it is not surprising to see people with dogs in pet friendly hotels. It is rare, however, to see someone traveling with a cat, since they generally do not like to travel.

Extended Stay Hotels Offer a Range of Lodging Possibilities

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/April/Extended-Stay-Hotels-Offer-a-Range-of-Lodging-Possibilities.htm

<img title="" alt="extended stay hotels" stay hotels" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/extended stay hotels2.jpg" />

If you're planning to stay somewhere away from home for more than 3 days, might I suggest extended stay hotels? If you're unfamiliar with the concept, extended stay hotels are lodgings designed for the long-term stay that offer a refrigerator, kitchen, larger rooms, and a more homey array of amenities, like including pots and pans in the kitchen, or kitchenette. Many extended stay hotels also have 24-hour-a-day gyms and offer laundry service through the hotel. This last feature is one of the best aspects of extended stay hotels, in my opinion, because it allows travelers to pack lighter because they can reuse all of their clothes as soon as they're washed. Extended stay hotels also feature larger living quarters in several different configurations. For instance, some of them offer a range of room sizes and prices. The cheapest rooms are studios, which are your basic one-room lodging that includes a kitchen. Then there are the one-bedroom lodgings that have a separate bedroom to offer a more home-like feel, and the most expensive extended stay hotels offer you a two-room suite that has the biggest square footage, and a larger, sometimes full kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and the like. This last feature is very convenient and economical because it allows travelers to cook more meals at "home" instead of always eating out at restaurants.

Extended Stay Hotels Offer Mini-Kitchens

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/April/ExtendedStayHotelsOfferMiniKitchens.htm

If planning a family vacation or getaway, there are several factors to take into account. Aside from having money to spend on entertainment or activities, you’ll need cash to spend on food. Wouldn’t it be nice to go on vacation and save money on meals? If you choose extended stay hotels, you can actually save money on food. Several extended stay hotels feature small kitchenettes, which include a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and limited kitchen supplies. This is perfect for travelers who prefer to save money and prepare their own meals. Think of how much you’ll save with a kitchen in your hotel room.

Since kitchenettes are not standard in all extended stay hotels, it’s important to inquire about a kitchen before booking your room. Even if a particular hotel doesn’t feature a kitchen, you might be able to find an extended stay hotel that offers a mini-refrigerator and microwave. This way, you can buy frozen breakfast or lunch food, and dine-out for dinner. Single travelers might not concern themselves with saving money. However, if you’re traveling with children, money saving is likely at the top of your priorities list.

Never Leave Home With Extended Stay Hotels

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/April/Never-Leave-Home-With-Extended-Stay-Hotels.htm

<img title="extended stay hotels" height="190" alt="extended stay hotels, pet friendly hotels" stay hotels" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/ExtendedStayHotels.jpg" width="275" border="0" />

A lot of travelers still shy away from extended stay hotels, because it seems like a strange concept to them. However, for a lot of these people, staying at extended stay hotels is the best option. When compared from a price standpoint, extended stay hotels will probably ask for a higher initial investment, but in the long run, this initial investment will be lower than all the extra money spent by staying in traditional hotels. Firstly, most hotels and motels charge you per night while the extended stays usually charge you per week and sometimes even per month. This is the same principle as buying in bulk. When you book extended stays hotels you are purchasing a bigger lot of night stays and therefore end up getting a price break. In addition, almost all extended stays have kitchens inside so you can cook your meals or even get some bread, ham and cheese and put it in the mini fridge. If you make the calculations you will see how much money you can save by cooking your own meals while staying in extended stay hotels compared to eating out every time. Another great characteristic of these extended stays is that a lot of them are pet friendly hotels, so you can bring fido with you while you are away from home for a while. So next time you have to be gone for a while, checkout some extended stay hotels and you will feel like you never left home.

This picturesque setting is met with the Mediterranean styled interior of the hotel that will take your breath away. Golfing is just steps away and during this time of the year, you can be assured that a rain out won’t ruin your day. The average room rate for this hotel is 225 dollars per night.

TripAdvisor.com rates the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes number 1 among 216 other hotels and motels in Myrtle Beach. Let me be your hotel finder for this coastal destination. Travelers who have stayed here have said the hotel is new, has a friendly staff and the room and hotel interior is exquisite. If this hotel is booked, there is also a Marriot in the area. What this new establishment has that many other Myrtle Beach hotels don’t offer is a full kitchen in selected rooms.

When we vacation we want to go somewhere that takes us completely away from our world and Myrtle Beach hotels are the best place to lose ourselves. Myrtle Beach is one of the fastest growing tourist spots in the US. Myrtle Beach is clustered with a number of quiet towns and islands. Many of these places are still privately owned. Obsolete buildings and low interest rates have risen to high-rise hotels, oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels and preconstruction condos. Some Myrtle Beach hotels offer seasonal beach bars, serving tropical drinks with entertainment shows. Some offer lobby lounges, spas, fitness centers, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The complimentary services of these Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts include airport transfers on request. There are complimentary breakfasts for children up to a certain age. Parking is also free at most of these hotels, though there might be seasonal surcharges applied for some of these amenities. Some of Myrtle Beach hotels are pet friendly hotels with certain conditions and additional charges applied. Make sure you book these hotel rooms as soon as you can, because they are in high demand!

There's a new kind of hotel that intends to make price-conscious, stylish travelers happy through ergonomically designed, tiny spaces. These lodgings have been dubbed "pod hotels". They basically sacrifice space and amenities, like staff, restaurants, and sometimes private bathrooms in exchange for an undeniably low cost. So, don't check tons of amenties on a hotel finder and expect to find a Pod on your list.

Pod hotels have been in Asia for decades, they've also infiltrated Europe and are beginning to make a statement in the U.S.

New York City's new Pod Hotel is cheap and stylish. Prices begin at $89 and go up to $139 whcich includes a private bath. These costs are certainly the lowest in a hotel finder since the current average hotel room cost in New York is $350. The stylish retro-designed rooms have iPod docking stations, dimmer-control lighting systems, free Wi-Fi access, and a semi-largish screen LCD TV. The room was that was featured on Yahoo! News was approximately 300 square feet.

Prepare for a Pod invasion in the U.S. soon.

Extended Stay Hotels are great places for spending your vacation. Extended stay hotels are also great for when you are having your house worked on and can't live in your house until the work is done. We recently had to have our electricity off for about two weeks for an addition to our house. We stayed at an extended stay hotel in our city. It was a great place to stay especially with three kids. There was a small kitchen with a full refrigerator, stove and a dishwasher. I didn't do much cooking because they also had a free dinner buffet and breakfast, of course, in the lobby. We had a suite so there were two rooms with televisions, one room had two beds. And then the couch in the sitting area also pulled out into a bed. I highly recommend staying at extended stay hotels for stays longer than a day or two. I found this advertisement for a very nice extended stay hotel in Venice Beach, California at YouTube. If you are looking for extended stay hotels in California, you need to watch the video.

My husband has been using a hotel finder to locate hotels and motels that are on the route that we have chosen and he has been quite successful in finding hotels and motels in the areas that we want. He has found that by using a hotel finder he has had a variety of hotels and motels displayed and that makes it great for deciding on the prices we can afford for the places to stay. We have a travel budget and a big part of it consists of paying for accommodations so being able to decide between the costs of several different hotels and motels helps with being able to stay within our expense range. We love to travel as a family and using a hotel finder to help us locate the perfect hotels and motels for our needs is a great way to enhance the experience of planning our vacation.

Get Warm and Cozy in Extended Stay Hotels

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/March/Get-Warm-and-Cozy-in-Extended-Stay-Hotels.htm

<img title="extended stay hotels" alt="extended stay hotels" stay hotels" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/07-maple-reverse.jpg" /> Extended stay hotels serve a broad market among travelers, long and short term. Extended stay hotels typically offer living suites, kitchen areas, and separate bedrooms, so they attract people who want to do some of their own cooking while away from home and have a little more leg room than a standard hotel room. They also appeal to retirees who like to go to warmer places in the winter without having to rent an apartment for three to six months, or buy a permanent home in a location they will visit for just a few months every year. These retirees enjoy the room service and on site amenities that extended stay hotels usually offer, like DVD and book libraries.

When I was traveling a lot for business, I would always choose extended stay hotels over the typical hotel because I liked to cook my own meals, which helped me keep my weight in check. My favorite was in Troy, Michigan, where my room even had a gas fireplace which I enjoyed a great deal, while I worked at night. If you have a long trip coming up, check into extended stay hotels which may enhance your time away from home.

Find Discount Hotels and Motels Online Using a Hotel Finder

http://www.180hotels.com/2008/March/Find-Discount-Hotels-and-Motels-Online-Using-a-Hotel-Finder.htm

<img title="hotels and motels" alt="hotels and motels, hotel finder" and motels" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/2atscope.jpg" />As a female Scrooge, I am always looking for hotels and motels with great rates. Just because a room in hotels and motels does not have a high room rate does not mean that the accommodations will be substandard or of poor quality. Sometimes hotels and motels discount their rates to fill them up, and getting nice hotel rooms at great rates usually involves using a hotel finder for these great deals.

A hotel finder online will help you find a room at a discount price, saving you a fair amount of money that you can use to put in the gas tank, or splurge on a great meal while you are traveling. Hotels and motels offer discounts to attract people to them who, if they have a good experience, will come back again, possibly paying the rack rate the next time they come. If you want a great trip, spend a few minutes searching an online hotel finder to get a terrific deal on a nice hotel, and watch your savings pile up every night you stay.

A Hotel Finder Will Bever Lead You Astray

<img title="hotel finder" height="120" alt="hotel finder, pet friendly hotels" finder" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/180hotels.com/finder.jpg" width="220" border="0" />
We let McDonalds cook our burger, we let Pizza hut cook our pizzas and we let Ben and Jerry make out ice cream, that’s why I don’t understand why more people don’t use a hotel finder to book their vacation spots. A hotel finder site specializes in getting consumers all the detailed information on any hotels all over the world. The coolest thing about using hotel finder is that you will get a list of hotels based on your personal specifications and then you can comparison shop by scrolling down the list and comparing hotels based a numbers of important factors. But don’t worry; the hotel finder will break it all down for you. In addition, there are people that have special needs like having to take their pet with them on the trip. Well, hotel finder can also find a list of pet friendly hotels so that you don’t have to skip that vacation anymore. Whenever we choose to go on vacation, we want to make sure that the moment is perfect. We don’t have time to waste choosing the wrong place to stay, so why not go for the sure thing and use a hotel finder? You will always have the best hotels and motels accommodations wherever you go in the world through the hotel finder.
