I have been on the hotel finder and other travel finder sites since it became available online years ago. Through-out the years of family vacations and business travel, online travel booking was and is the best way to go. In these tough times now, you can find fantastic savings on many hotels and motels along with other perks that usually come with the bookings. It can be free breakfasts to a night free, if you stay a certain number of nights. My family has taken advantage of as many perks as we could through all our travels. If you can go with a travel package of air, hotel and car, the savings can be quite a bit. I remember when my family was moving from the northwest to southwest. We searched for pet friendly hotels as we were bringing our dog and cat. What a relief to find hotels on our route and book one, without that huge worry on our long driving trip down. Booking your travel hotel online is truly the best way to go.

Nice weekend to see Fall

We have a three day weekend and what a better way to spend it by going to the mountians or an area where you know has trees that are or have turned their fall colors. Take that break and enjoy the beautiful colors ofr the season. Some places you could go is in Indiana in the Parke County area or Ashville, North Carolina. You will have unbeleivable beauty to see. Don't miss out on a chance to see the fall colors and have a three day weekend. Be sure to make your reservations because the hotels and motels are very busy during a weekend outing during this time of year.

Have you worked all summer and not taken some time to relax? Well now is the time to stop and take a break. Going to Florida this time of year is a good time. The vacation season is coming to a close so finding a hotels and motels to stay will be much lower then peck seasons. The draw at Big Theme Parks attendance is much lower so less waiting in line to go on a ride. This is a great time to get away and save money at the same time. The weather is good and people traffic is much lower so more relaxing. If you are looking for some place to relax and not cost you an arm and a leg this is the place you are looking for your getaway. The key to using hotel finders is to be as flexible as possible in order to zero in on the lowest deal. Then choose your amenities. Perhaps, you need pet friendly hotels. It's extremely important to decide what amenities are actually necessities for you because the more flexible you are with amenities, the easier it will be to find a great price

Denver (Thornton)

We are in Denver (Thornton) and most of the Extended Stays hotels that I have seen or been in have been nice. This one at 88th and Grant does not fit the usual Extended Stay hotels. Yesterday there were two break ins and two car's that were broken into. The maid informed us of this great information. We did not know the area until we were here. There should be a way to find this information out before you are stuck. We are going to one that is North of here and much better and safer. I have a video that does show the better side of the extended stay hotels. Enjoy!

They basically sacrifice space and amenities, like staff, restaurants, and sometimes private bathrooms in exchange for an undeniably low cost. So, don't check tons of amenties on a hotel finder and expect to find a Pod on your list.

Pod hotels have been in Asia for decades, they've also infiltrated Europe and are beginning to make a statement in the U.S.

New York City's new Pod Hotel is cheap and stylish. Prices begin at $89 and go up to $139 whcich includes a private bath. These costs are certainly the lowest in a hotel finder since the current average hotel room cost in New York is $350. The stylish retro-designed rooms have iPod docking stations, dimmer-control lighting systems, free Wi-Fi access, and a semi-largish screen LCD TV. The room was that was featured on Yahoo! News was approximately 300 square feet.

Extended Stay Hotels are great places for spending your vacation. Extended stay hotels are also great for when you are having your house worked on and can't live in your house until the work is done. We recently had to have our electricity off for about two weeks for an addition to our house. We stayed at an extended stay hotel in our city. It was a great place to stay especially with three kids. There was a small kitchen with a full refrigerator, stove and a dishwasher. I didn't do much cooking because they also had a free dinner buffet and breakfast, of course, in the lobby. We had a suite so there were two rooms with televisions, one room had two beds. And then the couch in the sitting area also pulled out into a bed. I highly recommend staying at extended stay hotels for stays longer than a day or two. I found this advertisement for a very nice extended stay hotel in Venice Beach, California at YouTube. It has been awhile since I have done any traveling but my family is planning a road trip for later in this month so we are now checking into the prices and locations of several hotels and motels along the way.
